Fernand Léger
French · b. 1881

Léger created bold lithographs and prints featuring flowers and hands with flat vivid colors and strong outlines, closely paralleling Picasso's graphic approach in this peace bouquet. His political prints and posters share the same combination of simplified figurative forms with celebratory floral imagery.

Henri Matisse
French · b. 1869

Matisse produced lithographs and prints featuring colorful bouquets rendered with expressive flat color in red, yellow, orange and purple tones that directly mirror the palette and floral subject matter of this Picasso work. His printed flower compositions share the same joyful vibrancy and gestural simplicity.

Marc Chagall
French-Russian · b. 1887

Chagall created numerous lithographs featuring outstretched hands holding colorful bouquets as symbols of love and peace, using the same warm saturated palette of reds, yellows and purples seen in this Picasso print. His prints share both the tender humanist symbolism and the limited edition Parisian printmaking context of this work.
