I’m an assistant professor of physics with a specialty in nuclear physics, but my interests extend well beyond the lab. Art has always been a constant in my life—I make a point to visit galleries wherever I travel, and over time that curiosity has grown into a shared passion with my spouse, an oil painter who works at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum. Together, we’ve built a meaningful collection and a community of artist friends. In my teaching, especially in introductory physics courses for non-science majors, I enjoy exploring the connections between science and art. This space is a way for me to document, organize, and reflect on the pieces we collect and encounter along the way.
