Bouquet Of Peace

This vibrant lithograph by Pablo Picasso depicts two outstretched hands tenderly holding a colorful bouquet of flowers rendered in red, yellow, orange and purple. Created on April 21, 1958 and printed by Schuster in Paris, France, the work was originally made for the peace demonstrations held in Stockholm, Sweden from July 16 to 22, 1958. The print is part of a limited edition of 200 and bears both a hand signature and a plate signature by Picasso, as well as a blind stamp. It is a rare and historically significant example of Picasso's lifelong commitment to the peace movement.
