Steinrohlinge (Raw Stones) A) horizontal in der Mitte geschnitten (cut horizontally down the middle) B) vertikal in der Mitte geschnitten (cut vertically down the middle)

Three massive raw stones are presented in their natural, unrefined state, each bisected by precise geometric cuts — one split along a horizontal axis and another along a vertical axis. Rückriem's interventions are minimal yet deliberate, exposing the interior surfaces of the stone while leaving the rugged exterior largely intact. The work highlights the tension between nature's raw form and the artist's controlled, mechanical incision.
