Thomas Ruff's *Nude Leb 01* is a large-scale chromogenic print mounted on Diasec, continuing his ongoing investigation into the nature of images and their cultural context. Sourced from internet pornography, the image is subjected to a pixelation and blurring process that simultaneously obscures and abstracts the human form, rendering it both explicit and elusive. The work challenges notions of desire, voyeurism, and the digital mediation of the body in contemporary visual culture.
