Aeolic Cluster 628.3
2022
Saraceno's hand blown glass work employs mirrored surfaces to investigate light refraction and spatial relationships through sculptural form. The glass cluster creates a complex three dimensional composition that responds to environmental light and viewer position. This work continues the artist's exploration of floating and suspended forms that reference both cosmic and molecular scales. The mirrored surfaces activate the surrounding space, making the viewer's presence integral to the work's visual experience. The piece bridges concerns of architecture, science, and perception.
