Iván Navarro is a Chilean-born, New York-based artist known for his large-scale installations and sculptures incorporating neon lights, mirrors, and everyday objects to create immersive optical illusions that explore themes of power, control, and political repression. His work often references his experience growing up under Pinochet's dictatorship in Chile, using electricity and light as metaphors for both oppression and resistance. Navarro has exhibited internationally, including representing Chile at the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009, and his work is held in major public and private collections worldwide.
