Senza titolo (scrittura come linea d’orizzonte)
1987
A horizontal band of densely packed, handwritten script stretches across the surface of the paper, functioning less as legible text than as a continuous visual line that evokes the stillness and infinity of a horizon. Boetti's characteristic merging of language and image transforms the act of writing into a meditative, almost compulsive mark-making practice, blurring the boundary between word and abstract form. The work is presented in the artist's own frame, reinforcing Boetti's belief that the artwork extends to every element of its presentation and context.
