Willard Boepple

Willard Boepple is an American sculptor born in 1948, known for his rigorous engagement with abstract form and his deep connection to the legacy of modernist sculpture. He is the son of Paul Boepple, a musician and educator, and grew up in an environment steeped in aesthetic discipline. Boepple studied and worked closely with Anthony Caro in England, an experience that profoundly shaped his approach to constructed, non-representational sculpture.
