Luis Feito

Luis Feito (1929, 2021) was a Spanish abstract painter and a founding member of the influential El Paso group, established in Madrid in 1957. He is celebrated for his bold, gestural canvases characterized by thick impasto textures, volcanic blacks, and earthy reds, often evoking a raw, primal energy. Feito exhibited internationally throughout his career, with his work held in major museums including the Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid.
