Becoming a Landscape (7)
Two large-scale chromogenic prints place the viewer in an intimate confrontation with the surface of water, its shifting tones and textures dissolving the boundary between subject and environment. Horn's signature exploration of identity and transformation is embedded in the work's ambiguity, as the images resist fixed reading, hovering between the figurative and the abstract. The diptych format invites comparison and difference, suggesting that landscape—like selfhood—is never singular or static, but continuously in the process of becoming.
