This work presents a geometric composition of interlocking rounded forms rendered in bold black lines against a cream colored ground. The design suggests three vertical elongated shapes with circular nodes, creating a rhythmic pattern that reads simultaneously as abstract ornament and biomorphic abstraction. Executed in plaster and gesso on linen, the tactile surface reveals the materiality of its construction, with visible marks and weathering that acknowledge the hand. The composition reflects a modernist sensibility rooted in constructivism and geometric abstraction, while maintaining an organic quality through its organic, almost cellular vocabulary of form.
