Wrapped Roses
Christo's *Wrapped Roses* (1968) is a lithograph from a limited edition of 75, in which the artist applies his signature conceptual practice of wrapping to a bouquet of roses, obscuring their delicate forms beneath taut, opaque material. The work captures Christo's fascination with concealment and transformation, inviting the viewer to contemplate what lies hidden beneath the surface. Published by the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania, this signed and numbered print represents an intimate, collectible expression of the monumental ideas that defined his iconic large-scale installations.
