William Crozier

William Crozier (1930, 2011) was a Scottish-born painter known for his vivid, expressionistic landscapes and figurative works that blended abstraction with raw emotional intensity. He spent much of his career between Ireland and England, drawing deep inspiration from the West Cork landscape, which he rendered in bold, gestural brushwork and striking color. A significant figure in post-war British and Irish painting, he was associated with a generation of artists who bridged European modernism and a distinctly personal expressive vision.
