Stan bitters

Stan Bitters (1933, 2021) was an American ceramic artist renowned for his monumental, organic sculptural works that blurred the boundaries between art, architecture, and landscape design. He spent decades working from his studio in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, creating large-scale ceramic installations, vessels, and fountains characterized by their raw, earthy textures and natural glazes. His work gained renewed international recognition in the 2010s through major auction sales and gallery exhibitions that introduced him to a new generation of collectors.
