Ryan Zogheb is an American painter born on July 1, 2000, in New York, who lives and works in Manhattan. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University in May 2022, with a major in studio art concentrating in painting and graphic design. His practice centers on expressionist portraits and florals, working exclusively in grayscale and painting only from life, producing gestural, subconscious-inflected works that foreground the artist's hand. Zogheb has participated in multiple artist residencies, including programs at World of Co, Carrie Able Gallery, GlogauAIR (Berlin), Belgrade Art Studio, Bonfire AIR, and the School of Visual Arts. His work has been presented in numerous group exhibitions, including a virtual solo presentation at GlogauAIR's open studio event in Berlin in 2023, a group show at Yellow Cube Gallery in Paris in 2023, and the group exhibition "Eros Rising," curated by Allen Frame at CLAMP in New York in 2026. He is also affiliated with Solas Studio in Manhattan.
