Paolo Roversi is one of the most celebrated and distinctive fashion photographers in the world, known for his ethereal, softly lit imagery that transforms fashion photography into fine art. Working predominantly with an 8x10 large-format Polaroid camera, Roversi creates luminous, dreamlike portraits and fashion images characterized by their blurred edges, painterly quality, and intimate atmosphere, having collaborated with top fashion houses including Dior, Valentino, and Yohji Yamamoto. His work has been exhibited in major museums and galleries worldwide, and he was honored with the prestigious Cecil Beaton Award; his 2020 Pirelli Calendar, featuring nude studies inspired by Dante's Divine Comedy, was critically acclaimed as one of the most artistic in the calendar's history.
