Anton Bruehl (1900, 1982) was an Australian-born American photographer renowned for his pioneering work in color photography during the 1930s and 1940s. Working primarily in New York, he became one of the leading commercial and fashion photographers of his era, contributing iconic imagery to Vogue, Vanity Fair, and other major publications. His innovative use of the carbro color process helped establish new standards for color reproduction in print advertising and editorial photography.
