Alfonso Angel Yangco Ossorio (1916, 1990) was a Filipino-American abstract expressionist artist born in Manila to a wealthy family of Hispanic, Filipino, and Chinese heritage. He studied fine art at Harvard University and the Rhode Island School of Design, later becoming a prominent figure in the New York art world. Known for his eclectic and visionary works, he was a close associate of Jackson Pollock and Jean Dubuffet.
