Zhang Huan's *Foam Series* consists of 15 chromogenic prints that document the artist's striking performative acts, in which his body is covered in dense layers of foam, obscuring his identity and blurring the boundaries between the human form and an amorphous, elemental material. The vibrant, large-scale photographs capture the tension between vulnerability and transformation, as Huan's submerged figure emerges as both subject and sculptural object.
