Cast in aluminium, Subodh Gupta's work transforms the humble, everyday objects of Indian domestic life into gleaming, monumental sculptures that blur the boundaries between the ordinary and the sacred. The highly polished metallic surface elevates familiar kitchen utensils and vessels into icons of cultural memory and migration, reflecting both the viewer and the world around them.
