Created by pioneering sculptor Louise Nevelson, *Night Leaf* is a cast polyester resin multiple housed in its original black Plexiglas box frame. The work reflects Nevelson's iconic aesthetic sensibility, using deep, shadow-rich blacks to transform a natural organic form into a bold, almost architectural statement. The contained framing enhances the sense of mystery and drama that defined much of her celebrated body of work.
