Behind this meticulously painted packaging element, a luminous gradient landscape emerges, shifting from cool blues in the upper atmosphere through turquoise and chartreuse tones toward darker green forms suggesting distant vegetation or forest silhouettes. Delicate linear marks and hanging details populate the composition, evoking both the material tactility of tape and the ethereal quality of natural space receding beyond. Mühlenbrink's investigation of surface, perception, and the boundary between representation and material presence continues his practice of transforming mundane packaging materials into complex meditations on vision and illusion.
