Red Dragon
2024
Red Dragon is a bold and dynamic large scale outdoor sculpture by Delos Van Earl, rendered in vivid red painted metal with striking orange accent elements including a cylindrical protrusion and circular cutout details. The abstract form evokes organic energy and movement, with sweeping angular planes and pointed silhouettes that suggest mythological presence and visual drama. Gifted to the City of Palm Springs by the Old Las Palmas Neighborhood Organization in January 2024, the work was dedicated as a symbol of unity and creativity for the community.
