This work combines collage and offset lithography to create a layered composition featuring library catalog labels stacked over a repetitive background of portrait faces. A simple line drawing of a figure appears on the right side, rendered with minimalist features and a vacant expression. The catalog labels reference iconic cultural works and figures including musicians and filmmakers, creating a dialogue between high art, popular culture, and institutional systems of classification. The juxtaposition of the impersonal cataloging system with the expressive portraits suggests themes of identity, archival practice, and the commodification of cultural products.
