Willem Dooijewaard

Willem Dooijewaard (1892, 1980) was a Dutch painter known for his intimate and expressive portrayals of everyday life, working-class figures, and urban scenes in Amsterdam. He studied at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten and developed a distinctive style blending realism with subtle emotional depth. His works frequently appeared at Dutch auction houses and are held in several regional museum collections.
