Lewis creates soft sculptures from found fabrics, textiles, and repurposed materials that explore themes of Black diaspora, feminism, and sustainability. Her figurative works combine traditional craft with contemporary concerns about waste and consumption. She has exhibited at MoMA, the Venice Biennale, and the Art Gallery of Ontario.
