Stephen Buckley

Stephen Buckley is a British painter born in 1944, known for his innovative approach to the painted surface through unconventional materials, layering, and structural manipulation of the canvas. He studied at the University of Newcastle and the University of Reading, and was closely associated with the British art scene of the 1970s, exhibiting alongside contemporaries such as Howard Hodgkin.
