Rainer Fetting

Fetting creates expressive figurative paintings featuring urban scenes, nudes, and portraits with bold color and gestural brushwork. A founding member of Berlin's Galerie am Moritzplatz and key Neo-Expressionist, his work documents Berlin nightlife and is held by institutions including Berlinische Galerie. His exuberant style captured the energy of 1980s Berlin art scenes.
