Quiringh Gerritsz. van Brekelenkam was a Dutch Golden Age painter active primarily in Leiden during the mid-to-late 17th century. He is best known for his intimate interior genre scenes depicting tailors, cobblers, and humble domestic life, often rendered with warm lighting and meticulous attention to everyday detail. His work reflects the strong Leiden tradition of fijnschilder painting and shares thematic affinities with contemporaries such as Gerard Dou and Frans van Mieris.
