Okumura Toshinobu was a Japanese ukiyo-e printmaker active in Edo (present-day Tokyo) during the early eighteenth century, believed to have been a pupil of the influential artist Okumura Masanobu. He is known for his bijin-ga (images of beautiful women) and actor prints executed in the distinctive hand-colored tan-e and urushi-e techniques popular during his era. His works are relatively rare and are held in major museum collections worldwide, occasionally appearing at specialist auction houses dealing in Japanese prints.
