Misaki Kawai

Misaki Kawai creates exuberant sculptures, paintings, and installations using stuffed fabric, wood, and found materials in a childlike, improvisational style. Her colorful, character-based works blend folk art with contemporary culture, creating joyful immersive environments. She has exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo and Palais de Tokyo.
