Jean Launois

Jean Launois was a French artist born in Les Sables-d'Olonne, Vendée, who showed an early gift for drawing encouraged by his family. He studied under Charles Milcendeau and Auguste Lepère, with a brief period at the École Julian in Paris. He is known for his sketches, drawings, and paintings produced during and after World War I.
