Emily Stannard (1803, 1885) was a British still life painter celebrated for her meticulous depictions of fruit, flowers, and game, working primarily in the tradition of Dutch and Flemish Old Masters. A member of the prominent Stannard family of Norwich painters, she was associated with the Norwich School of Artists and exhibited her work at the Norwich Society of Artists. Her paintings are noted for their rich detail, warm tonality, and skilled rendering of natural textures.
