Ely Belyutin

Ely Belyutin was a Soviet painter and art educator who founded an unofficial art studio in Moscow during the Cold War. He was known for experimental approaches to painting and mentoring young artists outside the state-approved Socialist Realism framework. His work bridged Soviet artistic tradition with modernist experimentation.
