Edward Avedisian
American(1936–2007)
Edward Avedisian was a painter who created Color Field works featuring geometric forms, stripes, and targets in bright, Pop-influenced colors. He was part of the New York School in the 1960s, exhibiting at Leo Castelli Gallery. His work is held in the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim, and the Whitney Museum.
