Douglas Gordon creates video installations and films that manipulate time, memory, and cinematic conventions, often appropriating Hollywood films. His work "24 Hour Psycho" slows Hitchcock's film to a 24-hour duration. He won the Turner Prize in 1996 and represented Britain at the Venice Biennale.
