Attributed to David Teniers the Younger

David Teniers the Younger (1610, 1690) was a prolific Flemish Baroque painter celebrated for his vivid depictions of peasant life, tavern scenes, and village festivities. Works attributed to him in auction contexts are typically by close followers or workshop assistants working in his distinctive style, reflecting his enormous influence on 17th-century genre painting. He also served as court painter to the Habsburgs in Brussels and was instrumental in founding the Antwerp Academy.
