David Teniers the Younger (1610, 1690) was a prolific Flemish Baroque painter celebrated for his vivid depictions of peasant life, tavern scenes, and village festivities. He also served as court painter to the Habsburgs in Brussels and was instrumental in founding the Antwerp Academy.
