Untitled
A compelling color photograph by celebrated American photojournalist Horace Bristol, depicting a woman breastfeeding an infant in what appears to be a crowded, documentary-style setting. The image is hand-signed by the artist in pencil on the mount below the photograph and carries a visible edition number. The work is presented in a dark wood float frame with cream mat, typical of fine art photography presentation. Bristol is best known for his documentary and wartime photography, including influential work with Life magazine.
