A highly polished stainless steel disc is coated in Kapoor's signature deep, visceral red lacquer, drawing the viewer's distorted reflection into its concave surface. The work plays with the boundary between interior and exterior, as the mirror-like form seems to absorb and trap the viewer within its blood-red depths. Like much of Kapoor's practice, *Blood Mirror* meditates on bodily experience, the uncanny, and the seductive yet unsettling nature of pure color and form.
