A layered assemblage of found and everyday materials, *Walking Home 8* brings together natural elements such as sand, dirt, shells, and lichen alongside humble domestic objects including an incense stick, a glass marble, and stickers. Jack Lavender arranges these fragments on Cortrex board beneath glass, creating a compressed, almost archaeological record of the small, incidental things encountered along an ordinary path. The work transforms the overlooked residue of daily life into a quiet meditation on journey, memory, and the textures of the familiar world.
