Drawing on Islamic calligraphy and scripture, Khan compresses multiple iterations of sacred writing into a single surface, producing deep, shadowy compositions that pulse with spiritual weight. The repetition of the greeting — a universal Islamic expression of peace and divine blessing — transforms language into an almost musical, rhythmic presence across the works.
