Spartacus Chetwynd

Spartacus Chetwynd (formerly known as Marvin Gaye Chetwynd) is a performance and installation artist known for exuberant, participatory performances featuring handmade costumes and sets that reinterpret cultural references and myths. Her collaborative, carnivalesque events blur boundaries between artist and audience. She was shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 2012 and is represented by Sadie Coles HQ.
