Shiy De-Jinn (席德進, 1923, 1981) was a Taiwanese painter of Chinese origin celebrated for his vibrant synthesis of Western modernism and traditional Chinese aesthetics. Trained under the influential artist Pang Xunqin at the Hangzhou School of Fine Arts, he later settled in Taiwan where he developed a distinctive style blending watercolor landscapes, figurative work, and bold, expressive color. He is regarded as one of the most important modern painters in Taiwan, known for championing local Taiwanese subjects and folk architecture with a deeply personal visual language.
