Robert Mallet-Stevens (1886, 1945) was a pioneering French architect and designer who became one of the leading figures of Art Deco and early modernist architecture in France. He is celebrated for his geometric, rationalist approach to architecture, interior design, and furniture, blending modernist principles with decorative elegance. His most iconic work includes the Villa Noailles in Hyères and the rue Mallet-Stevens in Paris, a street he designed entirely himself.
