Morris Graves

Morris Graves (1910, 2001) was an American painter associated with the Pacific Northwest School, renowned for his deeply meditative and mystical works that blended Eastern philosophy with Western artistic traditions. His iconic imagery of birds, snakes, and other creatures rendered in muted, luminous tones reflected his interest in Zen Buddhism and the inner spiritual life.
