Kunié Sugiura

Kunié Sugiura is a Japanese-born, New York-based photographer known for her experimental photogram and cameraless photography techniques. Working since the 1970s, she creates luminous, large-scale photograms by placing objects such as animals, plants, and everyday items directly onto light-sensitive photographic paper, producing ethereal, shadow-like compositions.
