Justus Juncker

Justus Juncker (1703, 1767) was a German painter known for his intimate still life compositions and genre scenes, working primarily in Frankfurt. He was a student of Johann Georg Dathan and became associated with the Frankfurt artistic community, producing works that reflect the Dutch Golden Age influence in their meticulous attention to detail and domestic subject matter. His still lifes featuring flowers, fruit, and everyday objects were highly regarded by collectors and have appeared regularly in European auction house sales.
