Jean Mayodon (1893–1967) was a French ceramicist celebrated for his richly decorated stoneware and earthenware pieces featuring mythological and figurative motifs rendered in lustrous metallic glazes. He served as director of the Sèvres National Manufactory from 1941 to 1942 and is widely regarded as one of the foremost French studio ceramicists of the Art Deco period. His work commands strong prices at auction, particularly pieces featuring his signature gold and polychrome enamel decoration on bold sculptural forms.
