Jacob Sibrandi Mancadan (1602, 1680) was a Dutch Golden Age painter known for his landscapes, seascapes, and battle scenes. Born in Minnertsga, Friesland, he trained under Hercules Segers and became one of the most prominent Frisian painters of his era. His works often feature dramatic skies, coastal scenes, and military subjects that reflect the turbulent period of the Eighty Years' War.
